Christian or Canadian? Guess!

MUSIC: Queens of the Stone Age - Feel Good Hit of the Summer (UNKLE remix)

Well, even after re-re-re-reading the madness of the other night's sleep-deprived rant, I'm leaving it. I was dumb and tired enough to post it, so posted it shall remain...and apparently it got me a holidy full of sammiches and blowjobs. So...Phil 1, Bitches 0.

I finally got all my stuff into the new apartment. Reid should be moved in by Sunday. I wish I could afford some furniture, cuz it's kinda bare in here...but considering how much I'm actually here I guess it doesn't matter much.

Work was kinda blah this week...the usual management efficiency-type issues that keep one from actually getting work done the way it should be. Luckily the guy right above(and in charge) of me seems to realize the problems and is dealing with the situation(or trying to anyway).

After the other night's little episode, I had made up my mind not to call Sarah for awhile. And after the brief and boring conversation we had the other night, that didn't seem like a tough thing to do. So I'm driving home today, totally NOT thinking about her(for once) and it popped in my head that she had lent my Amelie dvd to someone and I hadn't gotten it back...so I called her. And it was pretty painless for the most part. It's obvious in her voice that she's only talking to me out of necessity or pity or guilt or all of the above...either that or my brain's just transmitting white noise from the signal in my ears...which is quite possible. Maybe I'm not willing to let myself believe that I DON'T want to talk to her and so I'm making myself think it's on her end. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much?

On a completely new topic(applause), I finally found and seized my Most Holy Grail on Wednesday night. Some backstory...I have been listening to KMFDM(rather religiously) since junior year of highschool...so over 7 years now. They had an album in 1990 called "Naive" that contained a song, "Leibsled", that had an unlicensed sample in it. So some years later it was discontinued and taken out of stores...this was all before I became a fan. So senior year, when I got really REALLY into them, I was buying all I could find...and I could never find Naive. In the 4 years I lived in Chicago, the 5 months I lived in Iowa, the 1 month I lived in Cincinnatti, the 1.5 years I've lived in LA, and countless other cities and towns...every record store I've been in...I've looked for Naive...and never found it. It is usually 60 dollars on ebay....

Wednesday night, I finally found that motherfucker...for 8 dollars...at a place not 5 minutes from my new apartment.

The cool part was, when I was in the store checking the "new used" section in the K's (as I've done countless times before) I thought to myself..."well, I'd better go check the regular section, too, cuz someday I'll find it"...I CONCIOUSLY thought this just seconds before I actually found it...last one in the KMFDM row, too. To quote Hova: "If you can't respect that, your whole respective is whack".

That's the way of the world...what you waiting for?

Mistakes are inevitable.

MUSIC: The Prodigy - Memphis Bells

I am going to start this bastard up again. Mostly because of the cheap edutainment i get from jt's, alana's, and james's. I probably shouldn't, because blogging is lame. but i need a creative outlet and this is cheaper than a chia pet.

so having said that, let's bring the pain!

ps...my hope is that (most) future entries won't be as random and spite-filled as the first one is...actually having re-read it i probably shouldn't post it at all...but it's 2:19 in the morning and mistakes are inevitable.
