Hi there folks. How ya been? Have you recovered from the reaming? I am apathetic to the whole thing now that it's over, but maybe it's because, now 25, I'm not likely to get drafted.
So yeah, I had a birthday a few days back. Enjoyable but nothing big. Had two parties, so that was a first. Halo 2 is so much better on a projection screen...when everyone's been drinking.
The job is rockin out with it's happiestplaceonearth cock out and I haven't been this busy, competent, and fullfilled at a job for a long time. It's a good feeling to know that you're in the right place at the right time with (mostly) the right people. If you don't have it now, I hope you'll find it soon.
I've been really mellow and reflective for the most part lately. Maybe it's seasonal...fall always brings out the best in me, even if it's an LA one. I'm rockin the candles, rockin the De La, and life is good. I am feeling too blessed(an odd word choice for atheist little me, I know) lately to stay mad at anything or anyone for too long. I might get stressed at work sometimes, but I haven't went to bed angry, frustrated, or upset in awhile now.
So however hippy-sounding I may seem, I gotta wish all y'all much love and peace this Thanksgiving. I get to fly to my parents' in less than 2 days and I can't wait. I'm gonna stuff myself silly and soak up the cold weather and fall colors. I hope you can do the same.
Yeah, the whole election business sucked...it sucked bad. But god damn at least we don't live in Iraq or any other country we've bombed lately. No matter how tough you've got it, when you really really think about it, we've got no right to complain.
