MUSIC: Underworld – Electronic Part One

Good lord, has it really been over a month? Things have been all kindsa crazy up in here, so sorry (all five or six of you) for the lack of updates…it certainly wasn’t for lack of good material, just time, baby.
So since we last spoke:
- summer has officially ended and I feel so much better
- saw a great band called Porcelain at the Viper Room and hung out with their producer from Universal music and her two German (possibly) model friends
- got fucking smashed (with no hangover!) after said concert and it was hella fun…thus rekindling my affinity for the occasional liquoring up
- finally got my promotion, and a nice fat raise to go with it…I’m someone’s boss now…trippy
- saw Apsci and Blackalicious at the Troubador. Quannum Projects forever!!!
- saw Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and became very scared of Korean films
- started going to Trivia Tuesdays at a South African bar in Van Nuys…and fell head over heels in love with the “trivia girl” in about two minutes…^_^
- went to Queens of the Stone Age and NIN at the Hollywood Bowl…and got completely fucking smashed beforehand…George’s patented “Starburst” (pink lemonade and vanilla vodka) had us thanking g-d that the venue had ushers because I don’t think we could’ve gotten to our seats otherwise
- got sick from allergies (again! 2nd time in less than 6 months. wtf?)
- went to my first hockey game (Kings vs. Wild) and it was pretty badass
- lost my voice for 3 days (but still went to trivia!)
- got a bigassed TV for a lil’ assed price. Fifty-two inches, baby!
- saw Oldboy and became convinced that Korean films are fucking awesome (or at least Chan Wook Park’s are)
- went to Jose and Merrin’s new 670k house(!!!) in Glendale and was hella impressed and jealous
- Benny got engaged (for real, yo) and I’m gonna be the best man. April 22nd!
- monkeylicious.com is alive and swingin'
- worked for at least 3 weeks without a day off (except one Saturday when I was too sick to move)

I think that about covers it. I also stopped playing WoW again because Castlevania DoS, and now GTA for PSP are just too much fun. And I intentionally missed going to Lyrics Born last week because I was just too fucking tired…and that should tell you all you need to know right there.
