well, the interview went ok i guess, but the test i had to take afterwards was pretty hard...so i don't know if i'm even in the running for the job. i'll find out in the next week or so.

got the new Blur and Placebo albums. they are both interesting but kind of underwhelming on first listen. also got the Ms. Dynamite record, but haven't listened to it yet.

gots free passes to see Confidence tonight. looks very fun. and Identity comes out tomorrow!

Coachella is this weekend and short of a miracle, there's no way i'll be able to go. No Beasties for me:(

i have an interview on wednesday morning for a dvd technician job.

my apartment is freezing again *brr*...i do live in southern california right?
went to easter lunch/dinner/party at jose and merrin's yesterday. they are friends from chicago who moved out here when i did. very thankful to know people out here or it'd be mighty lonely. it was kinda frustrating though, since there was only one other person there with no job...and even more frustrating was this guy who i used to work with...he went to school for writing, but is now doing a job that i want, and they're training him to do stuff that i already know!!! and he wouldn't tell me exactly how he got his job either.
i don't know what i'm gonna do for work. almost no one is hiring and anyone who is wants tons more experience than i have. it's been almost a year since i graduated. i wonder how long it takes the average college grad to find a decent job. but i guess it was november since i was done with school, so it hasn't REALLY been a year....still, i am more than sick of depeding on my parents for everything...i hope they know that.

my parents rule. not only are they keeping me fed and sheltered until i find a job, but they sent me money for easter as well. my initial impulse is of course to buy records, but i'm gonna try not to use it all at once. think i have to buy the xmen 1.5 dvd so i'm ready for the new one ^_^

there's a really bad Nirvana special on tv right now. bad because the narrator is being way too melodramatic and overstating how good they were. i mean, i like Nirvana as much as the next person in their 20's, but saying "Nirvana lives on every time a band makes a difference"...c'mon now.
and why do they always show so many clips from unplugged? that is not Nirvana to me. Nirvana to me is kurt jumping into the drumset in the Lithium video, dave drumming his ass off, and krist throwing his bass up in the air(and sometimes missing it on the way down;), and not 4 guys sitting in chairs playing bowie covers.

crap. i guess i spoke too soon about the photoshop contest. last i saw we were 4 votes out of first (losing to a pretty lame entry too).

working more on the Dreamweaver tutorials...very cool and easy for web design virgins like myself...and a good, constructive way to pass the time whilst jobless. there's a possibility that it'll end soon, but i don't want to get my hopes up yet.

Eric Idle is down at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood tonight. I'm gonna go if it's free...last time i went to a signing(for Tenacious D) they made you buy the album though, so we'll see.

huzzah! we (that is reid and I) finally won a Photoshop contest on Fark.com! too bad there's no prize involved other than uber geekdom.
well i figured out how to design a basic website with Dreamweaver. now i have to figure out where to host it since Blogspot doesn't have image hosting. i'm thinking of getting one of those Angelfire or Geocities free sites and either putting the site there or just uploading images there and keeping the site on Blogspot...of course i have to design the thing first...

once i figure out html and all that jarz, i might make this thing look better.
